Lisa’s images have graced the pages of Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides, The Knot Magazine and Bride and Bloom, just to name a few. She truly knows how to capture a moment. Which wine country locations do you serve? All!

What are your top three wine country venues to shoot at? Black Swan Lake, Calistoga Ruins, Beaulieu Garden.

What type of cameras do you use? Contax 645 (medium format film camera), CanonEOS-3, Canon 5D and 5D Mark IIs.

What is your favorite time of day to shoot? Later evening, right before sunset.

Any tips for how to look your best when taking photos in a vineyard? Just focus on your partner and on enjoying the moment!! Your photographer will make the rest happen.

What three things should a couple never plan a wedding without? A wedding planner, a Pinterest board, and wedding magazines/blogs.

What are your favorite sites, blogs and/or mags for wedding inspiration? I read all the major wedding magazines and blogs. I especially have always been inspired by Martha Stewart Weddings.

What should a potential client bring to a first meeting with you? Nothing really! We talk a lot about what’s important to them in terms of theirphotography, how I work, and then just look at at a lot of images. I guess if I had to say something, I’d say time – I like to chat for a while and really get to know my clients.

Any overall tips that couples should keep in mind when it comes to photographing the big day? Trust your photographer and just have fun!
